The Axia takes an NS40ZL size battery, the small 12V 35Ah class with the terminals in the L layout. A battery shop sells by size, so NS40ZL is the number to quote, not a car maker’s part number.

That size is also widely listed for the Bezza, Myvi, Alza and Viva, and for the Honda City. Expect RM180 to RM280 fitted, more for a larger capacity in the same case.

Check the date stamp on the case before it goes in, and ask for the hold-down bracket to be refitted. A battery that slides in its tray cracks its own case. If a new battery is flat again within a week, the fault is the alternator or a parasitic drain, not the battery.
