The top trim and the only A300 with the full safety pack as standard. It shares the 1.0 litre three-cylinder and D-CVT with the rest of the range, so the premium buys kit, not performance.
The A300 is D-CVT only, so the four-speed automatic that the previous Axia used is gone. The D-CVT is smoother in traffic than the old torque-converter auto and noticeably better on fuel, which is most of why Perodua made the switch.
The AV is the heaviest A300 at 890 kg. That is 30 kg more than the AV it replaced, and it is the trim where the extra kit shows up in the weight.
