The G was the top of the two-trim AC100 range at launch, RM95,500 against the E’s RM89,600. It is the same 1.5 litre engine and CVT, with more kit and the full safety suite.
Do not read the G badge as a bigger engine. Both trims share the same 1.5 litre unit, so the difference is equipment, not power.
The AC100 rides on a 2,620 mm wheelbase, up 70 mm on the previous car. That is the number that makes the rear seat usable for adults, and it is the easiest way to tell an AC100 from the older Vios at a glance.
