Pandupedia is free to read and independently maintained. To help fund the site, links to online stores may become affiliate links. This page explains what that would mean, and what it will never mean.
Affiliate links
As of this update, no link on Pandupedia earns a commission. Every store link you can click today is an ordinary link. When affiliate links are added, each one will point to a store such as Shopee Malaysia or Lazada Malaysia, and if you open it and make a qualifying purchase, Pandupedia may earn a small commission from the store. You pay the same price either way. The commission comes out of the store’s margin, not your bill.
Editorial independence
Commission never influences what this site recommends. Part numbers, ratings, aftermarket alternatives, service intervals, and known-issue guidance are researched and written first. An affiliate link would go in only where a purchase route already makes sense, and a part is covered whether or not a link that earns commission exists for it. We do not accept paid placement, sponsored posts, or payment for listings or rankings.
How links are marked
A link that earns a commission will be labelled, so you can tell it from an ordinary one:
- Store links in content will carry
rel="sponsored nofollow", as search engine guidelines require. - A section containing such a link will show an affiliate badge next to it.
- Parts and price tables will carry a table-level note saying that store links in that table are affiliate links.
Until those marks appear, no link on this site pays us anything.
Prices and availability
Prices on this site are reference points, not quotations. Prices and stock on Shopee and Lazada change often, sometimes daily, so the price you see at the store may differ from what was recorded here. Pandupedia does not guarantee any price or availability. A marked store link will show a lastVerified date telling you when its price was last checked. Confirm the price on the store before you buy.
Display advertising
Pandupedia may carry display advertising in the future. If it does, the advertising will be clearly labeled as such, kept separate from editorial content, and limited to non-intrusive formats: no interstitials, no autoplay sound, no layout-shifting placements. Ad space will never influence which vehicles, parts, or fixes we cover. This section will be expanded when advertising actually launches.
