Highline is the trim that added the equipment most owners actually notice: alloy wheels, a better audio unit and, on later cars, the body-coloured trim that the base car did without. The exact list changed across 2004 to 2008 and has not been verified year by year, so this entry makes no feature claims.

Mechanically it is the same 1.6 S4PH and five-speed manual as the standard car. You pay for trim, not performance. If two cars are the same price and one is a Highline, the Highline is the better buy only if the extra equipment still works. Old stereos and tired alloys are not worth a premium.

RM55,933.33 is the on-the-road figure on the 7 May 2008 dealer list, where the entry appears as “GEN 2 1.6 MANUAL HIGHLINE”. It is RM4,423 above the standard manual on the same document.

Sold from 2004 to the March 2008 facelift.
