Symptoms
- Rattling noise from dashboard area on rough roads
- Squeaking from A-pillar trim
- Loose centre console feel
Cause
Early production Myvi models (2018-2020) had fit-and-finish issues where interior trim clips were not tightly secured. The dashboard and A-pillar trim are particularly prone to vibration.
Solution
Apply adhesive-backed felt tape to contact points behind trim panels. Replace broken plastic clips. Most rattles can be eliminated for under RM10.

Dashboard rattles are cosmetic and easily fixable. They’re far less common in 2021+ models after Perodua improved interior fit-and-finish.
