The 1.3L CamPro VVT is Proton’s entry-level powertrain for the Iriz range. It delivers adequate performance for city driving with fuel economy of around 5.5L/100km on the highway.
Oil grade note: Proton owner’s manuals and service data list SAE 5W-30 for the CamPro VVT range, and Proton’s genuine oil programme sells a 5W-30 (blended by Petronas). Earlier versions of this page carried an unverified 0W-20 claim. Confirm the grade printed in your owner’s manual before changing it, and note Proton service centres typically fill 5W-30.
