The top Iriz through two facelifts. It carried the six airbags, the leather bits and the 4G head unit that nothing else in the range had, and it was the only Iriz with a black roof. Price ran from RM62,888 at the September 2014 launch (the dearest Iriz ever sold) down to RM50,700 on the April 2019 list used here.

When Proton facelifted the car in August 2021 the Premium was replaced outright by the SUV-styled Active. Nothing called Premium was sold new in Malaysia after that, even though some Brunei cars kept the badge.

Local-spec note: the hero photo on this model page is a 2022 Brunei-market 1.6 Premium, not a Malaysian trim. Same body and engine, different market. See docs/IMAGE-ASSETS.md.

A five-speed manual was offered on the Premium from 2014 until the 2017 update. No price for that combination was available, so it has no entry of its own.
