Front Strut Mounting Iriz

Upper front strut mounting. Sellers list Proton number PW923488 for the Iriz, Persona VVT, Preve, Suprima S and Exora, and PW861113 for the mounting sold with its bearing.

Replace the pair, not one side. A worn mount knocks once as the wheel drops off a speed bump, and the noise is often blamed on the strut. If the bearing is rough when turned by hand, replace it at the same time, because a dry bearing clicks at parking speed.

Genuine mountings run RM110 to RM160 each; a KYB pair plus bearings and labour lands around RM350 to RM500 with an alignment.
